We found the cause and fixed it. In addition we also fixed a problem with the search bar looping. Patch release 0.79.1 is awaiting release on the Firefox add-on site – should be live very soon.

As we have not enough resources this add-on will be in “maintenance mode”, which means we will continue to post updates and try to find people who can help program but there will be no new releases until further notice. We’re really sorry about this but want to be frank and open about it. Of course if you can help, let us know and we might be able to get a release out.

There are no functional changes/fixes yet but there will be a new release soon addressing the recent changes by Google. Sorry for the delay which is mainly caused by not having any volunteers to help us code. If you can code Firefox add-ons and want to help please contact us. The more people helping the faster we can get releases out!

UPDATE: on January 18 we fixed OG to work with Firefox4b9. Should be available on Mozilla Add-Ons soon.

We all have our day jobs and private lives and thus spreading the workload on multiple shoulders to speed up the OG development is a good thing for the application. So, if you know PHP, Javascript and have (preferably) experience with Firefox add-ons please give us a helping hand!

This means OG is now generally available to everybody!
